NOTE: Rita was also a licensed amateur radio operator and was very proud of her achievement getting the General Class ticket (next to top level!). She also did recipe columns for both local radio clubs , so her call sign , KC2GFT, shows up on most of her work and her cemetery stone. She was well known in local ham radio activities.
